Spring-y Cuteness

I'm spending my Friday night watching tv with my hubby. Did you see his amazing coment on my last post? So sweet! I came home to all of the laundry and dishes done. He's too wonderful for words!

But, since I'm tired from working, I'm spending some time surfing the net for some perfectly spring-y inspiration. Look at these adorable finds:

Right-As-Rain Hat
This is over at Anthropologie... I need a cute bucket hat like this! Has anyone seen any tutorials around?

Sweet Treat Headband
Cute headbands galore. I really like the one above!

A-d-o-r-a-b-l-e, nuf' said!

So, I hope everyone else is kicking off their weekend as relaxing. What typeof cute spring clothes are you craving?

Have a blessed day,

Any Longaberger fans out there?

Years ago my mom decided to start selling Longaberger baskets to make some extra money like my aunt in FL does. In reality, she ended up buying herself, my sister-in-law, my nanny (her mom), and me all a set of the large and medium boardwalk baskets.

I love being able to trade out the liners to match my outfit! I love the fact that they are durable and adorable. But, you can't find the liners for these anymore. I have a couple of patterns to make my own....not that I have though.

But, during my Easter search the other day, I found this great tutorial to make a great Spring themed liner.

Isn't it cute? You can find it over at A Comfy Little Place of My Own. (direct link to project here)
Isn't it adorable? Who wouldn't want their purse to look like this:

I definitely need an adorable purse liner for my boardwalk purse!

So, are you a Longaberger fan? Do you have 1 favorite or are you a hoarder?
I have a few select baskets. But my mom and aunt are both hoarders...my aunt way more than my mom. But I would love, love, love to have a whole bunch more!

Step by step... day by day...

Does anyone else remember that show? It had Suzanne Summer in it pre-ab cruncher infomercials.

I used to love that show. I remember always watching Friday nights on TGIF. Anyone else remember the line-up of shows?

Now at nights, what do I do isntead of watching tv? I cut out pattern pieces!
I'm one step closer to finishing hubby's jacket. I actually have all the pieces cut out and ready to be sewn together. It took me awhile to take the plunge since I had to manipulate the pattern a bit. He wanted the contrasting pieces but also for it to zip all the way up like a jacket and not be like a pull-over. Hopefully I can get to sewing some of it this weekend.

In the mean time, I thought I'd do a quick search to see about some different Easter crafts. Afterall, it's 2 months away... surely if I start now I can get something done!! Here are a few of my favorites:

Look at those adorable jelly bean cookies at the decorated cookie. I think these would be perfect for my pumpkins!

I love this basket over at Moda Bake Shop but I think this is a bit too adventurous for me!

I have a ton of little boy baby socks to be able to make some of these adorable little bunnies from elsie marley!

I know that this is technically for Valentine's Day... but go with me here. Imagine, instead of hearts, little eggs and baby chicks instead! This is from over at emmyloubeedoo. Adorable, right?

I made one of these little guys from Chez Beeper Bebe little K for Christmas and her big brother absolutely loves, loves it too! I might try making one of these next ones for him.

This one is from allsorts. Too cute and a free pattern!

Dittle Dattle has these over at there page. I haven't done any block type art like this. But I mighthave to so I can use some perfectly Spring-ish paper like she did!

I hope that these help you get Spring Fever too! With our wonderful weather lately, I can't hardly wait for it!

Have a blessed day,
