I learned to crochet earlier this year. I promised myself that I would learn how eventually.
*sigh*
I hate that word...eventually..
I am going to start making eventually into now.
Anyways, I need ya'lls opinions. I have made a small baby blanket for a friend whose having her second boy.
I think it's cute since it's smaller and he's due to arrive in the next few weeks at the beginning of the summer.
I thought that a lightweight crib blanket would be great to just barely cover him up. However, know that it's made... I'm not sure that it was a good idea. What do ya'll think?
I did a strand of light yellow and a strand of light blue. I think it came our pretty well for a simple double-stitch blanket. Then I edged it with a single stitch into the double stitch, single chain, and then repeat all the way around.
There are one or two small areas that, if you study, don't look quite right... but I don't know if I should keep it and give myfriend something else or if she won't notice... What would ya'll do?
Even if I don't give it to her, I'm really excited that I finished a blanket (even if it's a small one) !!!
